Sophie Morton-Thomas
Sophie Morton-Thomas grew up in West Sussex and now lives in Chichester with her husband and young child (along with two grown-up kids, now and then.) She loved reading as a child, and was fascinated by the R.L.Stine Point Horror series, as well as Du Maurier's Rebecca as a teen. Travel by Night was her debut novel, followed by Bird Spotting in a Small Town, published by VERVE Books, which was selected as a Crime Pick of the Month by the Sunday Times. Sophie has a Master's degree in Crime and Thriller Writing from the University of Cambridge and works as an English teacher several days a week.
