Susannah Wise

Susannah Wise grew up in London and the Midlands. She is the author of two previous novels, This Fragile Earth, (Orion/Gollancz 2021) and Okay Then That’s Great (Orion/Gollancz 2022). Both were longlisted for the Mslexia Award.

Susannah studied at the Faber Academy, graduating in September 2018. She has contributed to, and written articles for newspapers as well as being published in flash and as a poet.

She’s currently adapting AJ West’s debut, The Spirit Engineer, for television in association with Canderblinks Film and Northern Ireland Screen. She’s also an established actor of stage and screen. She lives in London with her partner, son, and two wildly fickle cats.
